Terms & Conditions
Last updated: November 6, 2026
By using Latex Equation Editor ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Use of the Service
The Service is free for personal, educational and commercial use. You agree not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use automated means to place excessive load on it.
Your content
You own the equations you create. Because they are processed and stored in your browser, we do not have access to them and are not responsible for backing them up. Use the library's JSON export to keep copies.
Intellectual property
The Service's design, text and code are owned by us or our licensors, except for open-source components (such as KaTeX, MathLive, CodeMirror, Astro and Tailwind CSS), which are covered by their own licenses.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that rendering or exports are error-free, so please check important output before publishing or submitting it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.
Changes and availability
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, and update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
